We had a great time this past weekend up in Ohio. The weather was a little colder, but No rain!! Dad,Patricia,Bill and Lenora hosted an amazing rehearsal dinner. Everyone pitched in to make Deanna and Rob's wedding day an event to remember.

Camryn's First Birthday

Happy Birthday Camryn!! We had a great party. Alyssa and boyfriend, Dave,  Flew in for the occasion and Brian and Shannon came down as well. It rained on Saturday- but it wasn't "Flood Like" so we were safe. I would do an album- but time is hard to come by these days.   SO click on the link below to find some on Faebook. Camryn has such an amazing spirit and makes us laugh everyday. She flashes her 4 teeth proudly and looks like she has been walking for months..Which she has.

McKenzie's First day of School

Waking up at 6:15 a.m, McKenzie was ready and willing to get up for her first day of Kindergarten.

Breakfast of choice was a Fiber One Tart- Strawberry. She was excited as we walked the walk to her bus stop. She had a nervous smile as she greeted the 2 other K- students, but she was doing great. Karina- a rising 1st grader, visited our bus stop for the morning to help McK onto the bus. our Eyes were dry as we watched McK take those steps onto the bus for the first time. I was hoping she would turn and wave (Great photo op- who are we kidding) , but she never turned back. I wish I could have watched her all day-  a little fly on the wall -  but I knew in my heart she was doing fine.

When 2:35 rolled around it was time to travel back to the stop and get her. AS the Bus pulled up I saw her little head poking up from the first seat. AS all the kids filed off.I waited and waited and then finally looked at Ms. Sally- the bus driver- and she looked at me and said.."We missing someone?"..  I asked" McKenzie on there"... she turned and reminded McK this was her stop. Ahhh... Little "Chatty Cathy" was talking it up and forgot to get off.

She got home and snacked on freshly made cupcakes and cookies.

Her comments... "She liked the P.E and the resting time" and "She was ready to go back"...All in all she had a great day! Enjoy the photos on the left.

10 Months??? Already?

Camryn is 10 months old today. We are having a quiet week this week. McK is up visiting Lovie for 7 days. Many have asked if Camryn misses her big sis. I think she doesn't realize she is gone- but when McK does return home she'll be crawling- lighting speed- towards her.

We've been hanging out, shopping, doing our nails..well not quite yet- but all has been smooth sailing so far.

We miss our McK but we know she's having  blast. Camryn and I had some lunch out the other day..she was saving a puff for later.

9 month check up

Well..weighing in at a massive 16 lbs.  (same as the last visit- 3 month earlier) and 26 3/4 " long Camryn is fitting into her nickname "Little Peanut" quite well.  Other than beingin the 5% for weight she is great. She is cruising like crazy and we are waiting for these teeth to pop through at any moment.
